The inaugural annual meeting of the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) Palliative Care special interest group (SIG) was held on March 7, 2019. Over 30 psychologists and behavioral scientists attended, engaging in a collaborative discussion of the role of the SIG in increasing the engagement of these disciplines in the field of palliative care.
This was the 40th annual meeting of SBM, which has a multi-disciplinary membership of >2,000 individuals.
